AMP2/GMP2 Assay for Screening Ligases, Synthetases and Phosphodiesterases

The Transcreener AMP2/GMPAssay kits detect the enzymatic product of a Ligase or Synthetase reaction. Save time trying to create a custom assay for your challenging target. The universal nature of the Transcreener platform allows HTS-ready assay for a variety of enzyme targets.

The Simplest HTS-Capable Assay

Direct detection of AMP and GMP provides many advantages compared to complexity of coupled assays. Transcreener assays are the only HTS capable assays available with direct detection of unlabeled AMP or GMP.

Fewer False Positives

Direct detection reduces the degree of interference seen with coupling enzyme based assays, lowering the number of false positives.

Stable Reagents and Assay Signal

Assay reagents are stable at room temperature for a minimum of 8 hours. The fluorescent signal stability of Transcreener Ligase and Synthetase Assays lasts at least 24 hours. This provides the flexibility necessary to perform large automated screens.


Fewer steps mean faster results, limited interference, less robot programming, and a lower probability for error.

Flexible Format

Use 96 well, 384 well, or 1536 well plates depending on your desired format.

Robust and Repeatable

Z’ values of 0.7 or greater are common under initial velocity conditions.

Continuous Kinetic Mode Compatible

Transcreener Assays can be used in kinetic mode, allowing the assay to be used in applications not possible with endpoint only assay methods.

Measure Residence Times

Measure the residence times for inhibitors with a simple biochemical assay to characterize leads with the greatest potential to become drugs.

Streamlined Assay Development

Using the assay in kinetic mode reduces the number of experiments required to optimize conditions for a new enzyme.
